Company Overview
EZsave is a debt reduction platform designed to help consumers get out of debt. The companys solution enables users to reduce their recurring expenses, continuously monitor their income and expenses, compare prices across a wide range of services, and improve their credit score in order to lower the interest rates on their debt. The EZsave platform can be accessed via mobile and desktop devices.
My Contributions
I joined EZsave as a Lead Designer in 2017. Since then, I have been responsible for the design and development of the web application, iOS, and Android apps, as well as all marketing efforts for EZsave.

Case study

What I did
As a part of my responsibilities, I was responsible for researching, designing, testing, and iterating the user experience in accordance with lean design principles. My responsibilities include collaborating with the R&D team, the CEO, and the design team, as well as the design team and the development team.

Our Journey
My role at EZsave began in 2017 when I joined the team.
In the beginning, the company specialized in private household savings. Through effective negotiation with the providers of services like television, gas, and insurance, our organization was able to reduce household costs in the Israeli market by a significant amount.  The product has been changed and improved in order to meet the needs of our customers. It was important for us to talk to our customers. From week to week, we were able to draw conclusions and continued to improve as the weeks went on.
As a result, we had a lot of customers.
However, the economic model was not strong enough to support the project for more than a year. The decision was made to make the change and access the American market for loans and health insurance.

Research, testing, and seeing potential users were the first steps of the journey.
After testing mockups, we set out to collaborate with strong entities in the American economy in order to bring the project to life.
We started seeing traction and by improving our product we got more clients to convert.
In the year 2020, Covid made its presence felt on the market in a big way.
During the last couple of months, after operating in a COVID environment for a few months, our relationships with the insurance companies and loan companies froze, and as a result our board of directors decided to close our company.
