ZIPIT was founded in 2016 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
This company has a leading product that is quickly going to be a major seller for the company in the near future.
When I joined the company in 2014, we started working on an augmented reality mobile app for kids called ZIPIT monsTAR can be downloaded for free from the iTunes and Google Play stores.
My Contributions
In my role as a member of the ZIPIT design team, I was responsible for managing and designing the monstAR app.
By using the app, you can interact with your pencil case and watch it come alive with its own personality.
You can listen to jokes, play games, take photos and videos, and share them with your friends and family.
When I worked at ZIPIT, I designed those monster faces.
The process of designing these monster faces required extensive quality assurance in order to ensure that the faces of the pencil cases would work and could be readable in augmented reality.
During my time with ZIPIT, I worked on the UX planning and redesigned the app, adding new features such as a 'dress-up' feature and new game methods. The products were sold at Walmart and were enjoyed by thousands of people around the world.
